Who we are
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization, founded in 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut by a young parish priest, Blessed Michael J. McGivney. He gathered the men of his parish to strengthen their faith and to provide for the families of members who died — planting a seed that has grown to nearly two million members worldwide.
Bishop Verot Council #5845 carries that mission forward in Indialantic, FL. Chartered on May 1, 1966, our council is part of the Diocese of Orlando, District 30, Region 03, and makes its home at Holy Name of Jesus.

Charity

The Knights were founded to protect the families of members who fell on hard times. That spirit of brotherhood — and our top-rated insurance program — endures today.
